The Arlo is a fixed fan designed for caravans, boats, and vehicles. The Lucca is a portable fan ideal for tents, travel, and off-grid adventures.

Yes. Both the Arlo and Lucca include dual lighting modes: white light for visibility and amber light to repel bugs. The Arlo features a remote control for lighting, while the Lucca has a manual switch.

The Arlo supports USB-A, USB-C, and 12V plug options. The Lucca runs on USB-C and is compatible with power banks, wall sockets, and vehicle USB ports.

Both fans are designed for low-noise performance. The Arlo is nearly silent on low speed, and the Lucca is whisper-quiet — perfect for sleep or quiet campsites.

Portsea Fans are built for covered outdoor use. They are not waterproof, but can handle typical summer humidity and temperature variations found across Europe.

We currently offer a rooflight accessory compatible with both caravans and tents, enhancing your lighting options alongside the fan. More accessories are coming soon!

The name is inspired by Portsea Beach in Australia — a place close to our founders’ hearts. It represents calm, connection, and the spirit of travel.

Yes. The Lucca is designed specifically for off-grid use and runs easily on power banks. The Arlo also supports flexible power options for mobile travel.

Absolutely. The Arlo comes with a mounting kit and clear instructions for easy DIY installation in caravans, boats, or vehicles.

On a 10,000mAh power bank, the Lucca can run for up to 20 hours on its lowest setting. Usage time depends on fan speed and whether lighting is used.

Our fans are designed with safety in mind. The blades are made from Linear Low-Density Polyethylene (LLDPE), a flexible and durable material intended to reduce the risk of injury if touched while operating. The fan also includes a safety feature that stops the blades when they come into contact with an object, such as a finger.

While these features help enhance safety, no fan can be considered completely risk-free. We always recommend supervising children around any electrical or mechanical device.

Yes — to a degree. While not waterproof, they are made to withstand typical European summer conditions like humidity and temperature changes when used in covered outdoor spaces.

All Portsea Fans include a 3-year international limited warranty, covering defects in materials and workmanship.

Currently we ship to Germany, France, Spain and the Netherlands. We are looking to add more countries across Europe soon so keep your eyes peeled for updates!

In line with EU law, you may return your order within 14 days of delivery if it’s unused and in its original packaging.
